Another recipe from my favorite chef, Billy Parisi. Marinade, grill, eat. You can never have too many wings recipes, and this one is easy to make and has my favorite Asian flavors. I’ve grilled these many times, but have only this year jumped on the air fryer bandwagon, and these are ready in 18 minutes with that easy to use gadget.

Ingredients
- 1 c. hoisin sauce
- 2 T. rice wine vinegar
- 3 T. soy sauce
- 1 t. fish sauce
- 1/4 c. of sesame seed oil
- 4 pounds of trimmed chicken wings
- 3 T. chili garlic paste OR 3 T. sweet chili sauce (easy to find at Trader Joe’s)
- 1/4 c. of honey
- juice of 2 oranges
- sliced green onions for garnish
- fresh cilantro leaves for garnish
- sesame seeds for garnish
Directions
- Preheat grill to 400 degrees or set your air fryer to “Wings”.
- In a large bowl whisk together hoisin sauce, vinegar, soy, fish sauce, and sesame oil until combined. Once mixed combine with chicken wings and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or over-night.
- Once marinated remove the chicken from the marinade and cook on a hot grill until dark grills marks have formed and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes per side.
- Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the grill and set aside. In a separate large bowl, whisk together chili sauce, honey and orange juice. Next, toss the cooked wings in this mixture until the wings are completely coated.
- Serve the wings on a large platter and garnish with sliced green onions, cilantro leaves, and sesame seeds. Optional garnish: orange slices, and . . . I can’t help it — I sprinkle Aleppo chile flakes on everything I eat!
