My Favorite Stir Fry Sauce

Just add noodles, veg, and your choice (or not) of protein.

  • 4 T. Chinese sweet soy sauce
  • 4 T Chinese light soy sauce
  • 1 to 2 T. sambal chile sauce — add to your taste. I’m more of a scant samba user — less than a tablespoon!
  • 2 t. Chinese black vinegar
  • 1/2 t. sichuan peppercorn powder
  • 1 T. Tahini

Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and reserve until you’re ready to cook! I usually make 5X the recipe, and keep it in my fridge for a spur of the moment meal.
