These low carb onion rings are ALL OVER the internet right now. They are incredibly easy to make and beyond delicious. No frying, just bake! I added my favorite copycat dipping sauce from Outback . . . I know! Haven’t eaten there in years, but I still crave the blooming onion and the sauce!

RECIPE – Makes 12 onion rings
INGREDIENTS:
1 & 1/2 cups shredded parmesan (buy the real stuff, not the cornstarch dusted pre-shredded junk). I’ve had these with Colby cheese too — good — but I’m a parm girl.
12 onion slices
seasoned salt to taste
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Place half of the shredded cheese in each ring of a donut pan or a sheet pan works well too.
3. Add an onion slice to each one.
4. Top with remaining cheese and then sprinkle on some seasoned salt.
5. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
*Let cool down a bit before transferring to a paper towel to drain up the excess grease.
